Scuba Pics

Key Largo, Florida

Pictures at the bottom :)

Hey everyone! I just got my open water scuba certification at a two day shindig in Key Largo, Florida, so that's a thing I can do now. It wasn't a crazy exciting trip, so I won't bother recounting it fully, but I did get some pretty cool photos! This was the first trip where I felt it was worth breaking out the GoPro I found in a trash can while packrafting on the Neuse river in Raleigh.
In regards to the dearth of adventure posts since the summer (not counting the VERY late post about the last leg of my summer trip), I just haven't done any adventures I thought worth it to write about. Rest assured, I'm still getting out there, climbing, hiking, and whatever else I can get my paws on, but none of the trips have been especially noteworthy or out there. That combined with the fact that I've been super busy with school and very broke while living the student life, I just haven't had much to write about or time to write about something if I did!
Anyway, here are some of the cool pictures I got while getting my scuba certification! I'm still getting the hang of how this GoPro works, and how to make underwater pictures look good, but I think I got some decent shots :)

Objective

Get my open water scuba certification and see some neat reef wildlife

Animals I Saw

  • Pufferfish
  • Barracuda
  • Manatee
  • Angelfish (lots of different beautiful patterns)
  • Those anemones that disappear if you touch them
